Were-Hyena

This is a mechanical mask I made while in school. Instead of a werewolf I designed a "Were-hyena". I did conceptual sketching and illustrating and then sculpted the character. I then used my lifecast as a core and made a 2-part mold. Then I injected the mold with foam latex, fabricated a fiberglass skull that I then mechanized. I airbrushed it and also made the teeth out of dental acrylic that I sculpted and then molded/casted based off of real hyena teeth.
